Configuring a PXE Server for FUN! (Maybe profit)

PXE is a network booting protocol. It allows computers to request an operating system over the network and boot from it, without needing to touch its internal disk. Potential applications for PXE booting include:

• Diskless computers, having their OS on a central server for easy management
• Easy and Fast OS installs without the Need for a CD
• Quick Access to a Linux rescue environment for quick problem solving and data recovery
• Access to utilities like Memtest and Disk Checking
