You can further customize your system by purchasing exactly the mix which best meets your needs. To change your service, please contact sales@tummy.com with your virtual machine name and the changes you would like to make. The change in service will be scheduled with you.

Backups

Backups are an optional service, available for $5, $10, or $15, depending on the size of the virtual machine, respectively. These backups require the configuration of a root-user SSH authorized_keys entry (including security lockdowns which we will provide), and the ability to run rsync on the server. The backups run to an isolated set of backup servers, on a daily basis.

Transfer

This specifies the amount of data you can transfer to or from the public Internet. You are only charged for traffic going to the Internet, traffic going within our facility or to our local "mirrors" server (mirroring most common Linux distributions) is free.

Storage

This is the total amount of storage available on the virtual system. The operating system consumes some of this space (the total amount varies, depending on the amount of software, usually between 200 and 400MB). The remainder of this space may be used for storage of your software and data.

RAM

Total amount of RAM for the virtual system. Some of this memory is consumed by the kernel, the remainder is available for services and programs.
