Why Qmail? Qmail is a fast and secure Mail Transfer Agent (MTA). It was designed from the ground up to be a fast, secure mail handler by a well-known security expert, Dan Bernstein. Qmail uses a well designed security model which is intended to be immune to many of the common security problems found in other Mail Transfer Agents such as Sendmail. It's like having the mail room in another building, processing your mail safely.
