The Xfce project released version 4.2.1 yesterday, so I updated all my rpms to the new version. They can be found at my regular Fedora Extras site.

I have my Fedora Extras CVS access now, so hopefully you will be seeing these packages in fedora-extras-testing before too long.

Thanks for this Kevin! I'll have to try them out when I get home. Also, thanks for doing Terminal in RPM form. If you have a chance, could you look at providing xfmedia and Mousepad (see Benny's meta-page: http://www.xfce.org/~benny/apps.html)? xfmedia is a light xine-based media player that I like to use over gxine, and Mousepad is a new, early light "Notepad" for Xfce.

I don't know how hard these are to convert in to RPMs, though, so it might be impossible. Thanks for the FC3 work, though.

Noticed that 4.2.2 was released in May. Have you tried out the latest? Either way, any new tips/tricks for moving to Xfce from the whatever KRUDFC307/2005 uses?

Thanks,
Charles

Yeah, The packages in fedora extras were all updated to that right after it was released. So, Fedora Core 4 and Fedora development should have the updated ones.

Fedora Core 3 is difficult, since 1/2 the packages are in the core distro, and I don't have permission to push errata to those. :(

In other news I pushed out exo and Terminal packages last night for fc4 and devel. Should show up soon.
