tummy.com: we do linux

tummy.com xvscan

xvscan, scanning software for HP ScanJets, was tummy.com's first software product, initially released in 1995.

We updated it for 5 years, and were pleased with the reception it received in the Linux and Unix software communities.

As scanning software technology, particularly free solutions for Linux improved, we began to consider recommending those choices.

Finally, HP changed the programming interface for their ScanJets, making it impossible for us to continue to support new HP ScanJet models.

So, we decided to stop offering xvscan.

If you purchased xvscan, and have lost your copy, we'd be delighted to replace it for you. We are not selling copies to new customers, as there are free alternatives available which support currently-available scanners.

We thank you for your interest in xvscan, and invite you to look at our site to see our other offerings of interest to the Linux and Open Source community.
